Common questions, answered directly
A straightforward rundown of how Vaultmere Custody works, what it does and does not do, and what to expect when you get started.
What exactly does Vaultmere Custody do?
Vaultmere Custody aggregates market and account data from the exchanges you connect, applies automated analysis to surface patterns and risk signals, and presents the output in a consolidated dashboard. It is built to support decision-making, not to place trades on your behalf.
Does Vaultmere Custody have access to my funds?
No. Vaultmere Custody is designed to operate on a read-only basis by default. Connections are established through API keys that are scoped to data access, not withdrawal or transfer permissions. You remain in full control of your capital at all times.
Which exchanges and accounts can I connect?
Vaultmere Custody is built to work across multiple exchanges rather than a single venue, so you can view consolidated positions and activity in one place. Specific supported integrations are listed during the connection setup process inside the platform.
How is the analysis generated?
The platform processes historical and live data through automated models to identify trends, anomalies, and correlations across your connected accounts. The resulting output is presented as structured, readable summaries rather than raw data dumps.
Is Vaultmere Custody suitable for beginners?
Vaultmere Custody is built primarily for professionals and active traders managing capital across several platforms. Newer users can still use it, but the interface and terminology assume some familiarity with trading concepts and exchange mechanics.
Can the AI output be wrong or misleading?
Yes. Automated analysis is based on available data and modeling assumptions, and markets are inherently unpredictable. Output should be treated as supporting information, not a guarantee of future performance, and should be weighed alongside your own judgment and research.
How long does setup take?
Connecting an exchange account typically involves generating a read-only API key and entering it into Vaultmere Custody. Once connected, data begins populating the dashboard shortly after, though full historical analysis may take longer to compile depending on account size.
What happens if I disconnect an exchange?
You can revoke API access at any time directly from your exchange account settings. Once a key is revoked, Vaultmere Custody loses the ability to retrieve new data from that account, and previously processed data is handled according to our privacy policy.
Is there a trial period before committing?
Availability of trial access and pricing tiers is outlined during the signup process. We recommend reviewing the current plan details on the platform itself, as offerings may be updated from time to time.
What kind of support is available if I run into issues?
Our contact page lists the current channels for reaching the team. Questions about connections, data accuracy, or account access are best directed there so they can be routed appropriately.
Do you store my trading history permanently?
Data retention practices are described in our Privacy Policy. In general, data is retained only as needed to provide the analysis features of the platform and can be removed upon account closure or request.
